The power supply of the Edilgrappa S.r.l. shears can be of 3 types: electrical, with battery or with combustion engine.
The shears - Rebar Cutters – with electrical power are the most common and can be used in any application. The power voltage can be 110-120-230V depending on the country where these are used.
The shears with battery power are becoming more and more popular thanks to the progresses in the field of accumulators (see for example the new lithium ion batteries). This category of shears (Cordless rebar cutters) allows to work freely without constraints or other restraints caused by the presence of the power supply cable. The great cutting autonomy is guaranteed by the high quality of the batteries and by the electrical components used.
